Gene Hotchkiss has made progress with 1922's part in the Bequest Program for the College but he is not satisfied with the progress and won't be until he has built a high percentage of participation. His efforts thus far have been rewarded by the assurance from fourteen men that definite provisions for Dartmouth have been incorporated in their estate plans or insurance programs. Fourteen others have indicated intent to make such provisions when writing or rewriting their wills. There are 21 whose replies to Gene were indefinite as to intent but showed a favorable interest in the idea. Results to date show that the Bequest Program in general gives promise of being a real factor in solving the problems of the College in the areas of faculty salaries, scholarship aid and physical plant. Our Class can and should take a significant part in it. There is opportunity for every one of us to participate, for there are all sorts of ways to do it in amounts fitted to individual circumstances.
May your Christmas be a merry one!
