You will be interested in learning that your Executive Committee voted unanimously to extend an invitation to join our class organization to some 35 students who had attended Dartmouth during the V-12 program. As you may have noted, these men have previously been members of the Dartmouth Navy Alumni Association which listed a membership of some 220. Their monthly column has appeared regularly in this MAGAZINE. About 35 of them had signified that on the break-up of DNAA, they would like to become affiliated with our class organization. They will become "affiliates" rather than "members" but as such will be eligible to participate in our social functions and will help us on Alumni Fund Campaigns. When the final count is in, we will have more information about who they are and where they are. We, of the Executive Committee, are sure that all of you will join us in welcoming these men and in making them fully aware of the spirit and loyalties of the Class of 1945.

IT'S THE DARTMOUTH: Eugene M. Kinney '44, official of the Zenith Radio Corporation, Chicago, shown with the new radio-phonograph model named "The Dartmouth." This name, featured in national advertising, is a victory for Kinney who has been trying for three years to get the Big Green represented in the Zenith line. He reports that the model is very popular and why shouldn't it be with a name like that?
