Promptly as usual comes a response from George M. Davidson of Oak Park, Ill., for an account of himself since last heard from, and he says he has nothing, new to report; having remained at home during the past year, working on his Victory garden a large part of the time, occasionally attending meetings in Chicago of the various scientific and technical societies with which he is and was actively connected before his retirement as chemical engineer with the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Co., several years ago.
His health continues to be good, owing, no doubt, in large part, to long walks which he takes regularly and other outdoor exercisesawing his winter supply of hard wood for his large grate fire, etc. He has no plans for the coming winter but hopes to resume his favorite recreation of long distance automobile touring around the country as soon as a larger supply of gasoline becomes available.
As for your scribe, not much news. He returned a few weeks ago after a month's vacation spent in camp in the wilds of Maine, fly fishing for trout and salmon; having enjoyed good sport and a good rest, feeling fine and fit, and glad to get back to business again.
