Welcome back. I hope all of you enjoyed your summer. As I put pen to paper, Bea and I are planning a one-week excursion to Toronto with Sarah and Alan to visit Toronto's Metro Zoo, the Ontario Science Centre, Ontario Place, and Canada's Wonderland. Later this fall, we'll be planning a return visit to Hanover.
Word is in that class head agent, John Shapleigh our class agents, and 1984 Alumni Fund contributors have broken the 13th-yearout record of $55,595. Our class total for the 1984 70th Anniversary Fund was $76,831.24, with nearly 75 percent of the class a rousing 574 donors participating. Among classes from 1970 through 1978, we finished first in our group in the Green Derby, based on participation, percentage of dollar objective, and combined participation and dollar amount achieved. We far surpassed both our dollar goal of $71,000 and our participation goal of 71 percent. Again, congratulations to all.
