We pass on the following letter verbatim, with thanks to the writer, Adam Epstein.

"I am Harvey Epstein's son Adam and would like to update you on my father's activities.

"He is now in financial marketing and since last heard from, we have moved to 109 Piermont Avenue in Hewlett Bay Park, N.Y. He is now working hard but still finding time to play tennis on our newly built court. He is looking forward to seeing all his classmates at reunion.

"I am now at Princeton (not the college as I am a Dartmouth man like my dad) at the Hun School. I am 15, my sister Jolie is 13 and my mother Arlene is writing a column and doing advertising for a local paper. Other than that, all is well, best regards to the whole Class from my dad.

"Looking forward to June 18-20.

Sincerely, Adam Epstein

"P.S. This is written without my father's knowledge."

Fred Shanaman has been appointed Regional X Secretarial Representative of the Department of Commerce in the Pacific Northwest. In his new position, Fred will serve as the Secretary of Commerce's personal spokesman and as principal liaison with the business community and the public in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska. His offices are in Seattle. Fred will also serve as the Commerce Department representative on the Federal Regional Council, an interagency coordinating group made up of the heads of major Federal agencies.

Fred was formerly president and owner of Rainier Management Corporation of Tacoma, a market research and consulting firm, and president of Pyrodyne Corporation, a Tacoma toy and fireworks distributing company. He is a director of the Puget Sound National Bank, and has served as a director of Ocean Salt Company in Long Beach, Calif. He has also been active in a number of community organizations. Fred, his wife Jane, and their two children live in Tacoma.

Sam Bartlett, whose current State Department post is the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa, recently served as a panelist at the fourth annual student/alumni career seminar at the College. The theme of the seminar was "Yes, There Is Life After Dartmouth."

Bill Draper is currently a trial judiciary at Camp Pendleton, Calif. He had been staff judge advocate with the Ist Marine Aircraft Wing, FPO San Francisco.

Barry Sweet is busy working as a field agent for Scott, Foresman & Co., educational publishers, in Connecticut and western Massachusetts. Barry, his wife Lorraine, and their three children live in a 1774 farm house in Litchfield Hills in northwestern Connecticut, one of the most scenic areas in New England. Barry is president of the Dartmouth Club of Northwestern Connecticut.

A short note from Nancy Paule, wife of BrucePaule, reports that Bruce has been in Atlanta for three years with French, Inc., a sales rep. organization for Monroe Auto Equipment. Nancy says that "our three children will probably come with us to Reunion in June. We've missed beautiful New England, but really enjoy getting up in the morning with the knowledge the driveway won't need to be shoveled!"

Ned Bixby, Marlene, and their three children will also be at Reunion. Ned is vice president and general manager of the package foods division of General Mills in Minneapolis. You know that Ned has to shovel his driveway in Edina, Minn., at least once or twice every winter!

And, Dr. Dick Morrison, his wife, and three children will also be in Hanover in June. Dick writes from Essex Junction, Vt: "I have been in private practice for 13 years now. I own the Ethan Allen Medical Center and have other doctors associated with me. Have branched out into other businesses and own an extended care facility and real estate and an insurance company, among several other diversified corporations. Also have a standard bred racing horse stable and am a full "A" licensed driver myself and have had quite a bit of success driving in races." Dick is also active in the Vermont National Guard and holds the rank of lieutenant colonel.

The number of classmates coming to Hanover on June 18-20 increases every week. Are you in that number?
