'28ers all over the world are celebrating our FIFTEENTH in their own cities, but with all the accustomed vigor, over the week-end of June 5 to 7. Every effort has been made to publicize, by letters and in the fortnightly '28 Campaigner, the many gatherings, so that the third of the Class in uniform may drop in on one of them. In addition to the following scheduled affairs, there will be a reunion wherever two '28ers can get together.

The "fatherest off" Reunion will take place in London, with Rocky Keith, Walt McKee and Dick Rendell harking back to the glorious days of 1924-28, probably over a tankard or two of ale. A dress rehearsal of this Pow-Wow was held in London very recently, and we are indebted to the War Department for the picture which appears in this issue.

In Alaska, Bill Mcßoberts is going to try to fly over to celebrate with Lt. (jg) Parker No yes, but the name of the city is a military secret according to our censorship code.

In New York a big 15th Reunion Dance will be held at the Nipnichsen Club in Riverdale on June 5. Actually, the reunion will start the night before when the Reunion Committee holds open house at its "headquarters" (Hotel Pennsylvania) for the visiting firemen arriving from Wilmington, Syracuse, New Haven, Troy, Pa., etc.

A large attendance is indicated at the Boston Reunion on June 7 at the University Club. With characteristic modesty the committee describes its plans as "dinner and evening." (Italics are ours.)

In Detroit there will be a dinner at the Hotel Statler on June 7 for all Michiganites.

Philadelphians will gather at the YaleDartmouth Club, Bth floor of the University Club, on June 7 for dinner. In Washington, the committee has something planned for Sunday, June 6, but details were not available as these notes are being written.

Reunions are also being planned in Chicago and San Francisco, details of which can be secured from the Campaigner.

In a letter dated March 31, Dick Rendell said, "I ran into Rocky Keith in a Fleet Street pub the other day and exchanged greetings briefly as he had to catch a train. Walt McKee has an office the floor below mine and I see him almost daily."

HOME-COOKED MEAL DEP'T.

If you men in uniform will keep me informed of every change of address I'll immediately send you the addresses of nearby '2Bers who will be glad to see you. In the past year, and particularly before the holidays, '2Bers in many states asked if any soldier classmates were near them.

Lt. Don Solis writes from the Naval Air Station, Richmond, Florida, "Have been down here since March 1 There were quite a few Dartmouth boys in my class at Quonset. Went down with Skip Drayton, who is now billeted at Dayton, Ohio, doing expediting work. Ritchie Smith '26 was in the same platoon with me. My assignment in the Blimp Navy is very interesting. At the present time, am Material Officer on the Group Commander's Staff. I know you will be interested to learn that I received a V-mail letter in November from Al Kitts. Am sure Al was in the middle of the South Pacific mess as a lieutenant (Medical Corps) USNR, attached to the Marines. Will appreciate any further news you may have of him." Who has heard from Al?

Bob Word is a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Montana and also has his private practice in Helena.

Harv Fisher is a harassed priorites specialist for the Walworth Co., 60 East 42 St., New York.

Wayne Van Orman is counsel for the Bankers Indemnity Co., Newark, N. J.

Jack Carson and wife have twin boys, Rex and Kit, whose arrival last October 3 was just brought to my attention.

Pvt. Chris Hackett is at Camp Croft, S. C., learning the use of machine guns and anti-aircraft guns. He says he has learned to stay lower than a snake's belly when the bullets are whizzing overhead.

In the quarterly DuPont statement the name of L. S. Munson Jr. appears as Assistant Treasurer. Yep, that's our own "Kewp"!

Lt. Dick Frame, 'aB's only professional photographer, has been assigned to an aircraft carrier as photo officer.

Alberto Thompson has been appointed regional gas officer for the First Civilian Defense Area and will have his head- quarters in Boston. Al has been assistant professor of chemistry at M. I. T.
