It's hard to believe that our 10th reunion has come and gone so quickly! But Junes reunion weekend really was wonderful. It was very well attended, especially by the new Big Green generation! Babies, toddlers and young kids were definitely the takeaway from this reunion.

Lara Hoffman and Anna Anderson cochaired the '98 reunion committee and they did an amazing job. They, in fact, did no less than control the weather: After years of being dogged by torrential rain during major moments—who could ever forget the deluge that was our graduation?—we finally had a big event with very little rainfall! Lara and Anna held off the stormy weather until late Saturday night, so fun was had by all.

While attendance was impressive, life cycle events managed to get in the way of attendance for some. For instance, Jeff Beyer and his wife, Hallie, were unable to make the trip because they were busy caring for their new addition, Charles Sutton Beyer, who joined the world on May 2. The Beyers are currently living in Morristown, New Jersey, and Jeff is working at the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath in New Jersey.

Natalie Wood Vogel and Alex Vogel couldn't make the trip either because they were busy caring for newborn Calista Avery Vogel, born on May 29. And Jojo Blaxall Longnecker was dealing with an even newer addition. Jojo and her husband Jeff '97 welcomed baby Eve on June 4! The Longneckers are living in Boston, where Jojo is working at Fidelity in marketing.

Making it even closer to the reunion date was Morning Washburn. Morning and her husband, Torey Liepa, welcomed Penelope Tesla Washburn-Liepa on June 5. Morning writes that Penelope "is so cute—a black haired, blue-eyed butterball." The family is living in Washington, D.C., where Morning is a presidential management fellow working in the renewables division of the Department of Energy. She's currently on rotation in the energy office of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

In other baby news Maya Lodish and Jay Zimmerman welcomed Isabelle Nora Zimmerman on February 14! And Taylor Craig Ware and her husband, Adam, welcomed their son Will on April 24. Will even made it to the reunion for his first taste of Dartmouth in the company of his big sister Neily!

I also heard from Zaira Zafra, who is working at the Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media at Teachers College, Columbia University. Zaira is still living in N.Y.C. and wanted to make sure to tell Rosemary Durrouseau, "I miss her and wish she lived here next to me!"

Another fun thing about reunion was a changing of the guard in terms of class leadership. From 2003-08 the class was led by Betsy Lewis Roberts (president), Wendy Simon Habeski (vice president), Rodrego Byerly (treasurer) and Christian Atwood (secretary). They did an amazing job and should be applauded for their commitment to the class. At reunion they made the hand-off to the new crew: Anil Doshi (president), Eric Petitt (vice president), Rachel Drew (treasurer) and me (secretary). We are working on coming up with some great plans for the next five years and wed love to hear from you if you have thoughts, ideas or criticisms.

I hope everyone has a great fall and a fun holiday season and we will check back in with more news, announcements and updates in January! Until then write to me and tell me what you're up to! And happy end of 2008!
