If you have not made plans for our 20th Reunion, you still can. Twenty in Two Thousand! Feel the excitement! Joe Misiewicz who lives in Meredith, N.H., on Lake Winnipesaukee, reports that the area is a popular vacation destination for families. Squam Lake is also nearby. The number for the Meredith Chamber of Commerce is (603) 279-6121. Another popular area is North Conway, N.H., near Mt. Washington. Finally, Bar Harbor, Maine, is a great vacation place for families, although it is somewhat of a haul from Dartmouth.

Mary Ann McDonald Carolan teaches Italian language and literature at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. She is director of Italian studies and an assistant professor of modern languages and literature. Last night I was with a group of friends who wanted to resurrect the past by playing Trivial Pursuit. I immediately knew the answer to the question, "How many towers are on a label of Black Tower wine?" One evening back in Hanover, Mary Ann and I finished off one of those Black Tower bottles, and the three towers are forever etched painfully on my mind.

Brad Koenig received some nice PR in a recent article in Fort-line magazine. Based in Menlo Park, Calif., Brad has been with Goldman Sachs since 1986 and is now a partner-managing director. He is part of the firm's Infotech IPO group, which according to Fortune, is kicking serious rump. Brad would, of course.

Roy Johnson joined 2Wire Inc. last September as a member of the executive team. 2Wire is a leading developer of digital subscriber line residential gateway products that facilitate home networking. Previously Roy had been vice president and general manager of the home networking division at 3Com Corp. He drove the strategy and successful launch of 3Com's home networking operation and negotiated a key strategic relationship with Microsoft for co-branded products. Roy had been with 3Com since 1986 where he had held a variety of positions. Roy's next job will have to be with a company that starts with a "1."

Kristin Lord was full of exciting news. She and husband Christopher Small journeyed to China in July of 1999 to meet their adopted daughter, Helen Hong Chunzhe Lord Small, and to bring her home. Helen is going to need some more spaces on standardized forms for her name! Kristin and family live in Elora, Ontario. Kristin teaches at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Brian Boyer reports from Illinois that he was fortunate to attend the surprise 40th birthday party of Rob Daisley thrown by Rob's wife, Chantal, last November at their home in Tampa, Fla. Rob enjoyed reminiscing about freshman fall in Mass. Hall. Guy"The Guy" Dietrich was rumored to have made an unconfirmed appearance. After the party the Boyer family continued on to Walt Disney World. Brian advises against eating lunch immediately before riding The Tower of Terror.

Maria Basescu is busy living the good life in Vermont with her twins Sophie and Simon and their older brother Max. Additionally, Maria is director of marketing for the Graduate Center of Marlboro College, offering the first Internet-focused graduate programs in the country.

Merle Adelman's e-mails can be succinctly summarized. She wants all of us to give more money, more money, more money.

Make those reunion plans now, and see you in June!
