The news we have comes from the West Coast. On December 23, 1967, Trip Miller, in his second and final year at Stanford Business School married Jeannette Walker, with Wally Buschmann serving as best man! Jeannette, a 1966 graduate of Elmira College, is presently completing requirements for a master's in biochemistry at Northwestern University Medical School.
Warren Riley, a classmate of Tripp's at Stanford and one of a large Dartmouth contingent reports "two more classmates down the tubes." Erv Burkholder is engaged to Chris Miesowitz, Smith College 1968, and Bill Wegener is set to marry Jean Frances Henderson, a graduate of Colby Junior and now a senior at the University of Southern California. No marriage dates yet.
Warren's note does conclude with some encouraging news for us holdouts, however. "Battle, Bell, Calhoun, Drake, Fryberger, Gordon, Griffin, Rollins, Triesman, A! Smith, Nash and myself," he writes, "still very single, though some are faltering."
March was the month for the marriage of Skip Bryan and Wendy Elizabeth Chamberlain, daughter of Director of Admissions Edward T. Chamberlain at Dartmouth. Wendy, like Skip an outstanding skier, graduated from the University of Colorado in 1967. Skip's teaching at the Catlin Gabel School in Portland, Me.
