More than thirty Dartmouth undergraduates from the Syracuse area were honored at a luncheon yesterday by the Dartmouth Club of Central New York. This 14th annual Christmas get-together was held at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club with Dartmouth Club President, Bud Roth '56, presiding. Honored guests included 35 area secondary school students in addition to local educators.

Principal speaker for the luncheon was Carter M. Strickland '29, 1962 president of the 30,000-member Dartmouth Alumni Council. Mr. Strickland, a resident of nearby Oneida, was instrumental in the formation of the local alumni group and had two sons who attended Dartmouth: Seth, class of 1960 and Carter, who graduated in 1962.

Berkley Roth '56, president of the Dartmouth Club, introduced Strickland and Russell C. Carlson '48, the Club's secretary, acted as toastmaster. James Pfau '64, a graduate of Solvay High, spoke on his impressions after four years at Dartmouth and Richard M. Lannon '66 an All-County end at Jamesville-Dewitt, made a few comments on the recent football season which saw Dartmouth become the first team to repeat as Ivy League Champions.

Following the luncheon, movies were shown depicting undergraduate life and showing the highlights of the 1963 football season.
