The annual Christmas cocktail party of the Dartmouth Club of Central Pennsylvania was held on the evening of December 19 in the Penn Harris Hotel, Harrisburg. Thirty-five alumni, undergraduates, and guests welcomed the holiday season to Harrisburg in a true Dartmouth fashion.
Con Wilbur '13 captured distance honors. He claimed that he jetted in from Quito, Ecuador "especially for the gathering." Con was in Ecuador on an interesting special assignment for the United Nations.
We were pleased to have in attendance, end coach Joe Yukica and his lovely wife Betty. Joe, a native of our area, is attempting to strike a spark of interest for Dartmouth in some of the Pennsylvania grid products. Mai Robinson '57 has been named Interviewing and Enrollment Chairman for the Harrisburg area and has been hard at work quizzing prospective members of the class of 1966. He reports that the candidates generally have been of a very high caliber, so judging from our area, it appears that Dartmouth will continue to excel.
