A group of fifty Dartmouth men had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Robert Stecher's '19 remarks and seeing slides of his recent trip to Russia. Dr. Stecher was in Europe delivering a . paper on his specialized field of medicine, arthritis, and used the opportunity to spend two weeks behind the Iron Curtain. His remarks were received with great interest and enthusiasm by all and especially Luke Case '54 who had made a similar trip a year (before and came back sharing the same convictions concerning the Russian attitudes. Incidentally, Bob Stecher's youngest daughter Sally was married April 4 in Lakewood with many Big Green alumni guests in attendance.

On April 9 a large Dartmouth group assembled at the University Club for our Annual Banquet. President Eben Cockley '40 introduced coach Bob Blackman who gave his usual stimulating representation of the college and athletics. Movies of the '58 season were shown, and what's more enjoyable than sitting back and watching twenty minutes of Big Green victories? Bob Williamson '44 ran the banquet this year and saw to it that the food was hot and the booze plentiful. As in years past, the Cleveland Club was delighted to welcome back Bob Blackman, one of the College's finest and most impressive representatives.
