Great music, fine soloists and a swell evening. That was the consensus of the 700-plus alumni and friends who turned out for the Glee Club concert in Westfield. Paul Zeller and the Glee Club men did themselves proud and are certainly a tribute to the College. The informal party for the Glee Clubbers following the concert at nearby Chi-Am Chateau was also well attended and a gala affair.
The North Jersey Club's annual reception for accepted freshmen in the area has now been definitely set for Tuesday evening, May 11, at the Hotel Suburban in East Orange. The new Dartmouth men and their parents will be shown movies of the College and refreshments will be served. A reception committee of our members will be on hand to answer questions and to make the newcomers more familiar with their new-home-to-be in Hanover.
On the docket for June is our annual picnic, which in recent years, rain or shine, has become a very popular event. It will be held on either the first or second Saturday of June. Members are urged to watch for the announcement with full details of time and place, which will be mailed in plenty of time to make arrangements to attend.
