We are pleased to learn that Billie Newton has been asked to be Bequest Chairman for '86 and a member of the Dartmouth Bequest Committee, a tribute to his fine record in the past in securing funds for the College. While Billie has retired, as he puts it, "from the field into the side lines" (a statement which we continue to challenge), and was unable to attend the organizational meeting in Hanover on October 13, he has accepted the appointment and was in Hanover in spirit on that day, having sent a presentation of his suggestions by mail.

The '86 family records sadly the death of one of its loyal members, Mrs. Jennie L. Hutchins, Ned Wardwell's sister, who died in March at the age of 86. Mrs Hutchins has represented Ned in our group since his death, and each year has made a gift to the Alumni Fund in his memory. Thirty years of her long and useful life were spent in occupational therapy work at New Hampshire State Sanitarium, Glencliff, N. H., which was her home when she died. An expert weaver, she was to the last an active, interesting and alert woman. Her daughter Marjorie, Mrs. Paul D. Minnick, lives in Keene, N. H.

The Secretary and Mrs. Kelly left for St, Petersburg on October 2, after a pleasant summer in Vermont.
