San Diego

Sixty-five alumni members of the eight Ivy League colleges met recently at the San Diego University Club to inaugurate a new Ivy League Association in San Diego County. The enthusiasm which radiated from the entire group has insured the continuation and development of a new organization which can do much to foster closer bonds between the individual college alumni and stimulate more interest among local high school students in the Ivy League colleges.

The following Dartmouth alumni were present: Ty Cobb '40, Vance Dickerman '31, Len Manley '13, Parker Meade '22, Cliff Power '3l, Dick Sankey '3l, Howard Shaffer 'l7, Dorman Sinclair '28, George Phillips '3l, Bob Morris 'l2, and Bill Knibbs, '34, who also served as toastmaster.

Sid Hayward's letter of cordial greetings and hearty congratulations from Hanover was read to the group by Cliff Power and received an enthusiastic round of applause.
