Percy reports that he will be pleased to receive applications for positions from linguists with foreign residence and newspaper experience. The salary is attractive.
Through the courtesy of Chester C. Butts 'll, information has been received that Lt. Brainart T. Macomber, Class of 1938 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, whose marriage to Miss Elizabeth Davis Chamberlin, the daughter of Lafayette and Mrs. Chamberlin of Winchester, Massachusetts, was reported in the October MAGAZINE, was cited on January 23, 1943 for heroism and awarded a decoration for outstanding achievement at Melbourne (Florida) Naval air station where he is a flying instructor. Lt. Macomber received a Gold Star in lieu of a second Navy Cross. Congratulations to the Macombers and Chamberlins.
Shirley B. Cunningham is the President of Prentice-Hall Company, Book Publishers, with offices at 70 Fifth Avenue, New York. Shirley travels all over the country in the interests of his firm. Here's hoping that he calls on many of the '05 men.
