The Secretary received the notice from Mrs. Barton of the death of her husband George Carlton Barton on September si, but too late to attend the services. Fortunately Stanley and his wife who were spending their vacation in New London, N. H., were able to represent the class.

The accident on Aug. 30 to the Secretary and Mrs. Rowe while returning from calls on the Grays and the Healds brought them into contact with a surgeon whose wife was a cousin to our Mrs. Trull. A letter to her, now Mrs. Geo. Allen Brown, 1661 Colonial Ave., Venice, California, brought an interesting and appreciative response. Six years ago her sight left her suddenly but she lives in hope that it will return. She writes (typewritten) that the Secretary's letter brought back many tender memories and a wish to be in touch with the Doctor's old classmates.

Secretary, 80 Federal St., Boston, Mass.
