THE YALE-DARTMOUTH game, being the focal point for fall activities in Connecticut, the seven clubs in the Nutmeg State will swing into enthusiastic action sometime before the whistle blows with an assortment of smokers, luncheons, dinners, speakers and all the other accoutrements necessary and proper to a fitting inauguration of their programs for the coming academic year.
The pre-game warm-up in Hartford and Bridgeport will find Robert "Whitey" Fuller '37 ascending the rostrum and filling the air with the latest football vogues, Hanover fashion. Movies will supplement each program. Hartford will have the additional pleasure of hearing James E. lieegan, famous football referee. New Haven has scheduled a smoker on the eve of the game. Incidently, George Lane '29, recently elected vice-president of the club, is being urged to fill the vacant presidency which Ed Pastore '3l unwittingly relinquished shortly after his election.
Stamford, not being able to restrain its enthusiasm until game time, has planned a barbecue of sorts for October 11. The other four clubs are keeping their plans a secret, but I am assured that this in no way indicates a blitz—krieg against the battlements of Yale.
