Apparently A. H. Ross has returned from Europe, as his address is now 68 Vine St., Saugus, Mass. .... The Secretary may be addressed at Nokomis, Fla., during the winter Mrs. Manson writes from 369 Cedar Ave., Ridgewood, N. J., where she is living with her daughter, who continues teaching in the local high school. They spend the summer at the old home in Solon, Me. She expressed a wish to attend the coming reunion of the class

Sanborn is sporting another cup, as golf champion of the Boys over Seventy Group of the Oakley club Hadlock's daughter is social director of freshmen women at University of West Virginia, Morgantown, W. Va.

The annual dinner of the Eighties Group was held at the Boston City Club Oct. 24, immediately after the football game. Following is attendance, one less than last year: Watson '83, who presided; Newton '86; Blakey, Burnett, Cushman, Gage, Junkins, Hadlock, Howland, Knight, Rice, and Sanborn '87; Cate, Dunlap, McCarthy '88; Blakely, Dunlap, and Frost '89. Hadlock, Dunlap and McCarthy had not been with us for several years. Bartlett 87 and Lougee '88 were kept away by illness, while three, present a year ago, have passed away: Quint, Gregory, and Livermore. Politics absorbed most of the discussion after dinner, although a breezy letter from Ed Bayley '85 brought an echo of the Orozco murals, and in rebuttal Howland read a letter quoting approval of the murals by an eminent art authority. Newton made extended remarks relating to the reunion of his class last June, also about Rollins College in Florida, where he winters. Mention of the fraternity problem in Hanover failed to evoke much discussion. The gathering is indebted to Sanborn, who, as for several years, arranged the details of the dinner. After the meeting Junkins held the reunion committee for discussion of plans for next June.
