Twelve of the 500 men attending the Dartmouth-Boston dinner were Thirteeners, and this number included Harold McAllister and Bart Shepard down from New Hampshire. The rest were the usual faithful ones and Munsey, but several oldtimers were among the missing. President Hopkins was splendid, and you'll undoubtedly find his speech printed in full elsewhere. Judge Charlie Donahue was the other speaker, and enough said Charles is always good, and this year was no exception.

According to the picture of the Flying Yankee in the Boston Herald on Monday, March 18, Carl Shumway was one of the 140 Dartmouth Outing Club of Boston members to make the trip on this famous train to the Ravine Camp at Moosilauke. "Big" Bigelow died suddenly from a heart attack in St. Paul, Minn., on March 18. The sympathy of the entire class is extended to Mrs. Leon G. Bigelow and their son, Herbert H. Bigelow 2d.

Eight of the class attended the New York alumni banquet with Clarence Meleney at the speakers' table as president of the Westchester Alumni Association. The following message of greeting from Steve Rose was read "Dunedin, New Zealand, Steamship Jacob Ruppert sends greetings on return voyage from Antarctic. Capt. S. D.Rose 1913"

John Remsen is clearing the decks for action on the Alumni Fund to get away to a flying start. When your first notice arrives, please answer at once, as such promptness will save the College and class expense and relieve Johnny of much work and anxiety. The loss of loyal members during the past year makes the work on the total increasingly difficult.
