THE FALL PROGRAM of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston, well under way at this writing, is being carried out with increasing participation.

On September 21, Joe Batchelder's golf outing at the Dedham Country and Polo Club was a thoroughly enjoyable affair witnessing some close competition and returning as winners of the three net prizes: Monty Wells '28, George Fuller '23, and Joe Batchelder '26.

The "Big Green Flyer" to Hanover and back on the Saturday of the Norwich game was again all but washed out by heavy rain, but those who did brave the elements had an uproarious time and returned with a passionate enthusiasm for Hanover one-day specials.

On the day of the demise of the late Yale Bowl Jinx a crowd of between 300 and 350 pack-jammed the Hawthorne Room at the Parker House to attend the broadcast of the Yale game. Doane Arnold '27 did a masterful job announcing and the new board on which the progress of the game was charted proved to be a decided improvement to the direct wire broadcasting facilities.

The Association will run another special train to Hanover for the Cornell game, and will, in addition, broadcast a play by play report over direct wire at the Hawthorne Room in the Parker House. The Lunch Club moves into the Hawthorne Room on football broadcast Saturdays, allowing members to take their positions at luncheon and keep them through the afternoon.

PRINCETON CRUISE

A "Deep Sea Cruise" to Princeton will get under way late Friday afternoon, November 22, combining water and rail transportation to the Palmer Stadium, with a return to Boston scheduled for the follow- ing Monday morning. For those who cannot make the trip there will be a direct wire report at the Parker House.

The Columbia game, November 30, will also be broadcast by direct wire report.
