Chicago news received through our own Warren D. Bruner, secretary of the Chicago Alumni Association, relates of the "sons' luncheon" on January 9. 1912 contributions were Kimmie and Paul Uriort, sons of Heinie, Kenneth Chapman, son of Elmer, and Foster Bruner, son of Warren. Kimmie Urion, age four years, entertained the gathering by singing "As the Backs Go Tearing By."

"I hardly know what to put down for my occupation. I am superintendent for these four small towns (Londonderry, Windham, Landgrove, and Peru, Vt.) twelve schools, which is part time. I am also town clerk and treasurer, as I have been for nearly five years, and still keep my farm though I have reduced activities on that somewhat. I still keep two horses, idle most of the time, four cows, three heifers, and two hogs, and do my own chores, so you see I am a real farmer. I also do a little newspaper writing, having a column in the county daily as well as being local news correspondent. I also have various unremunera- tive activities in church and community. Though I live in a town of about 250 inhabitants, I am not entirely out of the world, especially since buying my new radio, which takes so much time that my various occupations suffer more or less seriously. Yours in 1912."
Sydney A. Clark:—Last news from Syd relates his travels from Rio de Janeiro to Trieste and then to Paris, where he is now located for the winter, and busy writing.
Many thanks to "Babe" Hartshorn for his assistance in sending out the Christmas cards. Edmund R. Sawyer:—Never did answer your letter of the 10th of November—but tell you now Buster that your 1925 dues are paid up and duly credited.
Harry E. Sawyer Thanks for your lovely card with the picture of little Harriet Barbara.
Roscoe G. Geller:— "Bos" gave us the pleasure of a visit to New York the other day, attending the meeting of New York state secretaries, and if anyone wants to know what makes a good town in which to live and in which to have a business just ask him about Owego, Tioga County.
Having nothing more to write about and yet desiring to give you something to think about —note—the bill for the ALUMNI MAGAZINE subscription for the class of 1912—just arrived. The figures read like a car load shipment of coal, and the boys will surely have to respond nicely to the class bills if we are to avoid declaring something. The bills for this year will go out the early part of March. In the meantime send in some news.
George W. Geiser, of Easton, Pa., is assistant district attorney of Northampton county.
